Sounds very generic and repetitive, maybe adding some variety with different instruments or changing up the melody would help. Having the bass melody separated from the main melody can surprisingly go a long way as that adds a lot of impact to a song in my experience. The drums are also quite bland and just follow a generic kick-snare pattern. There is also a lot of clipping, especially in the loud parts at 0:30 and 0:50, consider lowering your volumes or adding a compressor to the instruments. I wish I could hear the main synths a little bit more than in just this melody, as the main one in the beginning and end does sound fairly interesting and could have a lot of potential.

Ok, thanks for your reaction and some of your advice. Due to your comment I will spend more time on my next song. Happy holidays!

Around the 1:00 minute mark, the bass sounds like it has a little bit too much mid-end for it to mix properly imo. The extra bass at 1:42 kinda makes this track sounds very muddy and makes me focus a little bit too much on that. I love what you did at 2:00 with the lead, definitely spices the track up. at 3:20+, if the bass was more intense, it would kinda sound like something from cyberpunk. The extra sound that comes in at 3:27 I personally don't think it fits as is, but I guess it kinda works. In general, if you wanted this track to be more intense, having a more hard-hitting bass would help a lot. Try messing with different basses with different waveforms. I would also personally experiment with having different leads to go with the main one here. Overall I think this is pretty good, but with more experimentation this could be even better. Keep it up!

I definitely understand what you're saying and I can be 100% honest with you this was child's Play. I have something that everyone has been waiting on for quite a few months that probably years and it's going to get soon

Sounds pretty cool from a melody perspective. Instruments wise, the sounds feel quite basic and empty, to which you may be able to get away with EQing parts that are missing. You could also consider adding a stronger bass with it's own bassy melody to make the song feel more full and rich (especially around 0:48, which feels too much like a build up) and experiment with some other synths and sounds, you might create something that sounds a lot more richer, dynamic or whatever feeling you're going for. In my opinion, some extra variety in the melodies or maybe even keys would be a good addition for this, however that comes down to you.

In short: try different instruments, different melodies in different places, more exciting basses and richer, more dynamic synths and sounds

Was not expecting this, but it's totally welcome. For perspective, I only JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT REVERB. Not sure how I ever thought anything sounded good without it.

TL;DR: I appreciate the feedback

This is extremely wacky. This kinda makes it really difficult to keep track of the beats and the rhythm due to the weird melody and drum combination, which isn't a bad thing. One criticism I would like to give would be the bass not really having any kind of visible melody and just kinda sits there more as just a frequency rather than an addition to the song. I do kinda like the melody, although it's a bit difficult to follow and feels random.

Sluxshies responds:

Yeah i know, i'm still new to making music. Thank you for the criticism, I'll keep that in mind!
