Be a bit careful on the mixing, it sounds like your high-ends are way too loud to the point where it kinda hurts to listen to this (although take that with a grain of salt as I do have sensitive hearing). Your bass is pretty cool though, although I personally would try something more melodic in the low-mids to accompany it. Your drum patterns are pretty cool too. I would also personally experiment with having another synth jump in after a loop of the main melody to break-up the repetitiveness of it, but that's just me.

Even after all this time, I still really like this song. Shame that you weren't that good with mixing at this time yet, but if you were then it would sounds nuts.

Love the use of that distorted sound at the beginning, and the lead up to the calm bell-ish sound with that bass was really cool. 0:50+ sounds kinda over compressed, however if the mixing was a little bit more balanced that would sound really cool. Keep it up!

Pretty cool song. I like your synths at 0:52, and the sudden shift at the time is interesting and I think it adds pretty cool depth to the song, although it feels a little bit quiet and impactless compared to the beginning, so some extra dynamics would be cool. I love your sub, sounds really nice and your bass in general is pretty good. Not much else I have to say.

One thing I can say right away is that your drums are pretty cool. I love the variation you've used all throughout the song. Your key changes in the beginning are interesting, and I really like them. It does sound like your mid-highs are a little bit too high, and there is barely any bass, although that might be the style you're going for. The melodies themselves are a bit wacky and sometimes quite hard to follow (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) but I think you have achieved the feel you're looking for. Not much else to say other than keep it up!

Sounds pretty cool from a melody perspective. Instruments wise, the sounds feel quite basic and empty, to which you may be able to get away with EQing parts that are missing. You could also consider adding a stronger bass with it's own bassy melody to make the song feel more full and rich (especially around 0:48, which feels too much like a build up) and experiment with some other synths and sounds, you might create something that sounds a lot more richer, dynamic or whatever feeling you're going for. In my opinion, some extra variety in the melodies or maybe even keys would be a good addition for this, however that comes down to you.

In short: try different instruments, different melodies in different places, more exciting basses and richer, more dynamic synths and sounds

Was not expecting this, but it's totally welcome. For perspective, I only JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT REVERB. Not sure how I ever thought anything sounded good without it.

TL;DR: I appreciate the feedback

This is extremely wacky. This kinda makes it really difficult to keep track of the beats and the rhythm due to the weird melody and drum combination, which isn't a bad thing. One criticism I would like to give would be the bass not really having any kind of visible melody and just kinda sits there more as just a frequency rather than an addition to the song. I do kinda like the melody, although it's a bit difficult to follow and feels random.

Yeah i know, i'm still new to making music. Thank you for the criticism, I'll keep that in mind!
